My First Classical Ballet Variation – Blue Bird Sleeping Beauty

variation tutu
Bluebird  is my first classical ballet variation. The first Variation Dance I learned was Blue Bird from Sleeping Beauty. I danced the role of Princess Florine.
While I was learning the dance i also learned new steps like “fouettes “and “kuru“. This is also the first variation that I danced “en pointe”.
The first time I performed this dance was at the Cultural Center of the Philippines “CCP” during the Pasinaya Festival 2015. I also performed this dance during the Grand Recital of the Twinkle Toes Ballet and Music Academy at the Meralco Theater.

Miko Fogarty my Inspiration from the Ballet Documentary First Position

First Position is my favorite ballet movie. This is an American documentary film. It follows six young dancers preparing for the Youth America Grand Prix in New York City, one of the most famous ballet competitions in the world, it features Michaela DePrince, Aran Bell, Miko Fogarty, Jules Fogarty, Joan Sebastian Zamora and Rebecca Houseknecht as they intensively train and prepare for what could be the turning point of their lives.
One of my favorite dancers in the movie was Miko Fogarty, she decided to do homeschooling to have more time devoted to studying ballet. She is a  ballerina with beautiful expressive style. She is very graceful and with very good technique.
I want to become like Miko Forgarty some day. It’s my first year of homeschooling and i’m also focusing more on ballet. I’ve been attending more classes Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance at Twinkle Toes Ballet and Music Academy under my Teachers Nordic Caraig and Teacher Lina Peralejo they are very good. I’m also attending once in a while the apprentice classes at Philippine Ballet Theater with Russian Ballet Master Anatoli Panasyukov.
